Brokeback Mountain is a terrible movie.
I don't know if it was the initial violent drunken gay sex scene or the ongoing sexual and physical abuse of the women that horrified me worst, but it doesn't really matter. This is awful. I'm only finishing the movie because I already paid for it, and I figure nothing else they're going to show will haunt me as much as what I've already seen.

Didn't you hear though? It's about homosexuals! It's a romance movie with homosexuals! That's groundbreaking and shame on you for not liking the movie.
PS: I hated the movie. Just try to imagine that movie with a vagina in the lead role and it's awful. Terribly, horribly awful.
Not a fan. I didn't get all the hype. Gay or staright- it was a crap movie.
However, I went to see it with some girlfriends because it was filmed in our town. When I got home, I tried to snuggle up to my then-boyfriend who rolled over and grumbled at me "Don't come home from your fag movie and try to poke me for sex!"
Words to live by indeed.
I agree that it sucks. It's as if because it's a "blockbuster" movie about homosexual relationships that it just automatically has to be good.
I think "But I'm a Cheerleader" is way better and while it is a comedy, a much better portrayal.
